This Projector was sent to me as a Quality Assured replacement by Epson. As far as I know it is a fully factory refurbished machine which according to Epson does have a brand new Lamp installed. I have only used it for about half an hour just to test it. I have also checked the Lamp and it does appear to be unused, normally when they have been used they show signs of this like discoloration to the Lamp itself but there are no signs of this at all. The projector itself looks like brand new and whoever buys it will be getting themselves a great piece of kit that will be an awesome addition to any Home Cinema setup. The Projector comes with an original backlit remote control and will be packaged in its original box. One of the reasons these projectors are so great. I use this type of 3LCD projector because when viewing video on a DLP projector I suffer from a phenomenon called The Rainbow Effect (RBE) which I knew nothing about before a bought my first projector only to find there were very distracting colour flashes while trying to watch a film. These Epson 3LCD projectors do not have this problem and therefore in my opinion and for obvious reasons are great for everyone but especially good for Rainbow Effect sufferers.
